Watery Wednesday #143

Tomorrow's my birthday! First, I want to give honor and glory to God for seeing me through yet another year. Yeah!!! Thank you all for getting your eyes wet with me for another year. Now that that is out of the way, welcome back to another Watery Wednesday! If you're joining for the first time, a big hearty welcome! Are we all ready to get our eyes wet and wet some eyes in return? Let's go!

I took this shot at the Rancho Santa Ana Botanical Gardens this weekend. It was a beautiful day. I went to see their little butterfly exhibit. In a small pond on the other side of the gardens the turtles were swimming around like crazy!

RULES: Create your Watery Wednesday post first then come back and enter your name and the link to your post in the spaces provided. Next, just have fun visiting the other entrants to see their posts. If you leave a comment they'll know you've visited and will visit you in return. I might have posted these before but it's been at least two years ago (smile). Have fun!

Happy birthday!
Just added my post to your linky list, it's the last of a week's worth of shots from Switzerland during our March-April European trip.
I love your turtle. (Of course, I always love photos of turtles, but this one is special. Wonderful colors and it's swimming toward pieces of birthday cake decorations!)

Happy Birthday! For the Chinese, a turtle is a symbol of human longevity.

Kay is right. It's moving towards the birthday cake.

I'm linking up for the first time via Pet Creek and Tropical Nature Photos.

The turtle looks determined. Does he see a tasty morsel nearby?

RED SKY IN MORNING

Red sky in morning,
Sailors take warning!

Who knows what might happen out on the sea?
Waves riding high,
Waves to the sky,
Waves crashing and dashing all over me!

Red sky at night,
Sailors delight!

Leeward or windward we sail with no fear;
Water is calm,
Healing like balm—
Ahoy, fellow sailors, landfall is near!
