Watery Wednesday #169

SORRY about Mr. Linky. I forgot to change it but its fixed now. My apologies to anyone who will have to re-enter their link. Sorry! :-(

Its that time of the week to pull out those wet ones and put a little water in our eyes. Is everyone ready to do this? I know I am. Okay, lets get those eyes wet! Have a great Watery Wednesday everyone!

This is another shot from my last trip to Bolsa Chica.

Watery Wednesday #162

It's another glorious Watery Wednesday and just one step closer to Thanksgiving! I wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving. Even if you don't live in the U.S. you can still celebrate with us and give thanks for all that you have. We could all complaint but in reality, you have only to open your eyes and look around to see that no matter what you're going through you are still blessed and still have it better than so many other people. There but by the grace of God... I give thanks always and I will add my thanks for each of you who participate each week. And I'm also thankful for this wonderful thing called water. Okay, wet my eyes... please.

Not the clearest shot but I still love this. There is a place I go that has a single stream water feature. I can stand there forever taking shots because each one comes out different. One of these days I'm going to not have to master this digital camera and an F-stop! Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Watery Wednesday to everyone! Okay, back to the normal Mr. Linky. I'm so sorry about the mess last week. It was probably something stupid I didn't do. Maybe I'll try it again... later. Enjoy getting your eyes wet. Looking forward to seeing as many of your watery shots as possible. Let's get wet! :-)

You might have seen this one before but I think its worth a repost. This is one of my favorites!

Okay, guys. I got it fixed. It's working and I tried to input all of the wonderful links you left in the comments. Thanks for your patience and understanding. I don't know about you but I learn something every day!

Watery Wednesday #158

I'm baaack! I sure hope I didn't lose too many of you by being gone two weeks. I think I mentioned that my office was moving and I simply didn't have time to do anything personal but we're in, settled, I'm home again and I fell like getting my eyes wet. I hope you're all still here. Show me your wet stuff!

This is the lake up by my house that I post a lot of. The water is low but man, it sure was beautiful yesterday!

It's that time again! Time to get those eyes wet! Happy Watery Wednesday to all and once again I'd like to thank everyone who is still participating after my strained worked weeks and lack of time to concentrate on anything but work. I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed week. Be safe, be careful and get really wet - at least your eyes. :-)

Watery Wednesday #156

Hi you guys! I'm so sorry I skipped another week. When I look up from the haze it was late Wednesday. Dang! And here I am again, late but I had to stop everything and just post if for nothing else but to apologize and make sure that you could post your Watery shots. Hopefully I'll get a breather tonight and will be able to visit some of you. You see, our office is moving and my department is one of the biggest. I'm around like a chicken with my head cut off and I've got a cough and we're still just preparing for the move. Anyhoo... miss you guys and all of you wonderful shots. Get a little wet for me, okay!?

This is a shot of some water beads. Have you seen these before? They start off as little pellets. You soak them in water, which they absorb and they come about the size of small marbles. You use them instead of water or dirt for plants and flowers. I thought they were beautiful and very appropriate for Watery Wednesday!

Watery Wednesday #155

Sorry I'm late. Due to the holiday yesterday I'm off a day. I was just reminded that today is Tuesday, not Monday but... I'm still early for Wednesday. LOL! I'm still living in this work zoo until after the big move so I hope you guys will hang in there and be patient with me until I can visit more of you more often. I hate that I'm missing some great shots I'm sure. Just keep getting those eyes wet and take a drop or two in for me. :-(

I didn't mean to leave this a mystery so I'm adding this line in - this is a baseball cap that had fallen in the lake and was mostly submerged under the water.

Watery Wednesday #152

Happy Watery Wednesday to all! I hope I haven't posted this one before. I apologize that I don't have any new shots. It's been so hot that I haven't wanted to get out in the blaring sun and look for water. LOL! So, I've been going through my archives. I'd forgotten about some of the shots I've run across. Anyhoo, are you ready to get your eyes wet? I am! Let's do this!

This was taken at one of my favorite spots, Bolsa Chica Wetlands here in Southern California.

Watery Wednesday #151

Happy Water Wednesday to all. I'm sorry that I still have to apologize for not being able to participate much last week and things not being much better this week. Even as I tried to post this last night my power went out. Too many folks running their air conditioners I suppose. Anyhoo... I hope that if you're dealing with hot weather, at least getting your eyes wet will for a moment take your mind off the heat. Have fun getting those eyes wet!

Watery Wednesday #149

Happy Watery Wednesday. It's that time of the week again, time to get your eyes wet. I'm so happy I got to visit so many of you last week. I'm hoping I get to do the same. I'm trying public transportation to get to work this week so I'm at the mercy of the bus and train when it comes to my time to visit you guys. In the mean time, let's get wet!

Here's hoping all of my American posters had a safe and wonderful 4th of July! Are we all ready to get our eyes wet? I am! I could use something cool to look at to take my mind off my hot house and the air conditioner that stopped working. Happy Watery Wednesday to all!

Watery Wednesday #143

Tomorrow's my birthday! First, I want to give honor and glory to God for seeing me through yet another year. Yeah!!! Thank you all for getting your eyes wet with me for another year. Now that that is out of the way, welcome back to another Watery Wednesday! If you're joining for the first time, a big hearty welcome! Are we all ready to get our eyes wet and wet some eyes in return? Let's go!

I took this shot at the Rancho Santa Ana Botanical Gardens this weekend. It was a beautiful day. I went to see their little butterfly exhibit. In a small pond on the other side of the gardens the turtles were swimming around like crazy!

Watery Wednesday #140

Welcome back to another Watery Wednesday. My apologies that I didn't get a chance to do much visiting last week. I hope to make up for it this week. It rained a little yesterday so there I was out in my yard taking my favorite kind of water shots. I'll probably be posting them over the next few weeks. I've shown you mine now show me yours and have a great Watery Wednesday! Let's get those eyes wet.

SORRY YOU GUYS! I swear I changed Mr. Linky. This was the first chance I got to come check the blog. SORRY!

Welcome back to another wet and watery Wednesday!! I really enjoy getting my eyes wet with all of your watery shots. I'm ready to see what you've got for me this week. I'm posting another two this week. Browsing through my photos I came upon these. Can't believe I took these two years ago this month. Taking these was both fun and a chore since I have to work with this delayed snap thing with the digital camera. Have fun y'all!
