Watery Wednesday #151

Happy Water Wednesday to all. I'm sorry that I still have to apologize for not being able to participate much last week and things not being much better this week. Even as I tried to post this last night my power went out. Too many folks running their air conditioners I suppose. Anyhoo... I hope that if you're dealing with hot weather, at least getting your eyes wet will for a moment take your mind off the heat. Have fun getting those eyes wet!

RULES: Create your Watery Wednesday post first then come back and enter your name and the link to your post in the spaces provided. Next, just have fun visiting the other entrants to see their posts. If you leave a comment they'll know you've visited and will visit you in return. I might have posted these before but it's been at least two years ago (smile). Have fun!

What a beautiful photo. I'm trying to identify that bird but my mind can't quite reach it.
Haven't linked yet, but just had to say "how beautiful" first.

Beautiful picture. I know only too well about hydro shut-downs, we were out of hydro for 3 days. We are small town Canada and when hydro poles goes down we are the last town to get fixed - good thing my neighbour shared his generator. Happy Watery Wednesday! Diane

Now I live in a condo, I feel the crunch of people using electricity a lot more than when I used to live in a house with a yard -I know it's odd:)

I don't care if you posted the photo before or not--it looks great!

FEEL THE WATERS’ HEALING

If you’re stressed and weary
Try a thing or two:
Go down to the river,
Take a friend with you;
Take your shoes and socks off,
Plunge in twenty toes—
Feel the waters’ healing
As the river flows!

Dang! Sorry to hear that you are in the middle of all that awful heat. Maybe my post'll help you cool off ... I did a photo-report on Cultus Lake, one of the high lakes in Oregon that is near us.

Thanks so much for Watery Wednesday; I love your photo of the beautiful bird.

Take care,

What a beautiful, delicately colored bird. And the water, of course, always lovely. Actually, I have a bird flying over water this week:
