Nope, I don't remember you posting a black crowned night heron before. I haven't seen one in this posture before. I love the reflection!!

The other day I took a picture of this type of bird while I was walking around Newport Back Bay. Do you know what kind of bird it is? It sort of reminds me of a penguin when it stands up. However I know it's not. :)
Anyway I really like your shot especially because of the wonderful reflection!

That's what summer evenings are for, outdoors near water. Hope you cool off. Would you like some of Seattle's cool weather? Finally, this week it's in the 70s and we are so happy to see it that high!
