Watery Wednesday #27

It's that time of the week! Time to pull out those water shots and dip your eyes in a little water. Though I'm excited that the participation in this meme is growing the down-side is that it's getting difficult for me to visit everyone's blog/post but I will try my best. Ready - set - let's get wet!

RULES: Create your Watery Wednesday post first then come back and enter your name and the link to your post in the spaces provided above. Next, just have fun visiting the other entrants to see their posts. If you leave a comment they'll know you've visited and will visit you in return. Have fun!

You can use the images below to link back to this post.

Reminder, I start this on Tuesdays because there are parts of the worlds where Tuesday is already Wednesday.

That breaking wave looks so clear in black & white! Wow! Nice one!

BTW, the scheduling bug looks like it's on the way to being resolved. I'm still seeing some reports in the forum that not everybody's fixed, but mine appear to be working now.

Beautiful in black and white - the breaking wave looks delicious in close up !

Often monochrome says it all.

Mojo - Thanks. I did try it on this one and it worked out perfectly! I'm so glad and will be doing it from now on. :-)

Bim - Thank you. I'm going to reply comment while I can. I was a little impressed with the way that wave came out. It took me a zillion shots with the slow response of the digital to finally get what I was aiming for. :-)

Rinkly Rimes - I agree! I've always been a fan of black and whites.

I love what I see in this photo: the droplets and ring in the background are particularly nice.

I like it, but as with most black and white photos, you have to really be sure if black and white suits the subject!

And I wonder what the original colour version looked like!

Mine is up. I have a marina that is in walking distance from me. You think with it being that close I would get more exercise..lol

Happy Watery Wednesday

You have turned such a simple object and turned it into a work of art. Beautiful monochrome!

It's my first time to join Watery Wednesday. I hope you like it, and thank you for hosting this wonderful meme! Water is still so tough for me to photograph so I really enjoy the photos I see from those who join.

What a beautiful photo, and in b&w the wave contrasts wonderfully with the driftwood.

This is wonderful in black and white! I'm participating for the first time though I've visited others for a while now. Figured I'd get my virtual feet wet at Sacred Ruminations.
Hugs and blessings,
