Watery Wednesday #58

It's that time of the week! Amazing how time flies, isn't it!? It's a beautiful day today, just gorgeous here down around L.A. I had some rainy shots from last week but didn't have time to process them for this post. Maybe next week. In the meantime, hope you enjoy this shot of one of the brown pelicans I saw on a trip to Cabrillo beach.

Pull out those galoshes and let's get cyber wet!!

I've never seen a pelican in person — I don't think we even have them here. I like the fuzzy feathers on its head and neck.

A wonderful bird is the pelican,
His beak holds more than his belly can! (Don't remember who that should be attributed to..)
Wonderful pic!

He's a neat one. I like his shadow under him also. My post has fog, only sort of water, but it qualifies, right?

He is a real beauty. The clarity and detail of the photo is awesome Sweet T. I can see the water action as he walks.
Thanks for your kind efforts in hosting Watery Wednesday, it is very much appreciated.
Hope all is well with you :)

Pelicans are interesting birds to watch especially during feeding time.

We are having a sunny day here too. :-)

Love the pelican. The Great Blue Heron I just posted at Tampa, Florida isn't quite a match but their kissing-cousins.
