I love those Water Lillies, I also did see one pink yesterday, MB

I'm saying it here too: You're so kind and thank you for your compliments!

Did you know that "Amateur" comes from the French verbe "aimer" (to love), so when one is an amateur one does something out of love, not out of duty. I think that's a nice interpretation (and of course the fact that this is not what I do for a living ;).

This is so romantic! Such a rich pink flower floating in reflections!

I love lilies, the color stands out and with the reflection, it is like a painting.

Water lily is so beautiful - looks like a princess crown! Magical place! Is it in the wild - or on private pond?

Becky said...

Absolutely gorgeous! That water looks like glass, and the lily is beautiful.

You must live in a watery paradise. There are so many lovely photos of flowing, artful water that you've shown us. I've seen yellow water lilies, but never pink ones. Lovely.

Oh, so beautiful! In Sweden we have white and yellow.

NatureFootstep Photo said...

well, in Sweden we have red once as well, but they are rare.

My image is from a biking trip with the camera.

Have a nice watery wednesday

Hmmm... we are considering a pond.
Just to have this sort of thing and we no longer have a dog who loved water.

I don't know of a single flower that is more beautiful than a pond lily floating on the water.
Delightful sight, 2swee:D

Thanks for hosting Watery Wednesday

Darn - that's poster perfect.
For some reason I doubt we have these in Hungary. Haven't seen any.
Is that a wild one?

That is so pretty. I've seen water lilies on the lake where I walk around but they aren't blooming yet. I do see the buds though.

I love water lilies. So far I haven't seen too many around here at the botanical garden, but the Brooklyn Botanical Garden has a magnificent collection. Very nice.

That is just the Waterlily I have been looking for for my pond. A lovely shot and pretty colour too.
