That breaking wave looks so clear in black & white! Wow! Nice one!
BTW, the scheduling bug looks like it's on the way to being resolved. I'm still seeing some reports in the forum that not everybody's fixed, but mine appear to be working now.
Beautiful in black and white - the breaking wave looks delicious in close up !
Often monochrome says it all.
Mojo - Thanks. I did try it on this one and it worked out perfectly! I'm so glad and will be doing it from now on. :-)
Bim - Thank you. I'm going to reply comment while I can. I was a little impressed with the way that wave came out. It took me a zillion shots with the slow response of the digital to finally get what I was aiming for. :-)
Rinkly Rimes - I agree! I've always been a fan of black and whites.
Lovely, mesmerizing! I could look at this picture for a long, long time.
Fantastic photo, I love this shot.
Have a great week everyone!

Nice Splash shot!
I've got lighthouse photos from Portsmouth, NH today. Chat later, I've got to start checking out the other posts!
Stunning waves of the ocean! Thanks for hosting this great meme :). Best wishes.
I love what I see in this photo: the droplets and ring in the background are particularly nice.
I like it, but as with most black and white photos, you have to really be sure if black and white suits the subject!
And I wonder what the original colour version looked like!
Very good use of B&W for this image. Well done.
Love the movement you captured.
Mine is up. I have a marina that is in walking distance from me. You think with it being that close I would get more exercise..lol
Happy Watery Wednesday
Beautiful even in B&W. Love how you captured the waters splashing. Great shot! Enjoy your day!

T thank you sooo much for hosting this. I am glad that you have trouble keeping up with the growing fun of it too! Nice problem!
Your picture is so neat..it actually made me feel cool in the B/W very resfreshing with the splashes!
Great picture! Love this theme!
I am entering today for the first time!
In monochrome, your photo captures the gorgeous, dramatic power of water! Beautiful!
Excellent posts this week!
The water looks cold and I can almost hear it the sound of it. Great shot!!
You have turned such a simple object and turned it into a work of art. Beautiful monochrome!
It's my first time to join Watery Wednesday. I hope you like it, and thank you for hosting this wonderful meme! Water is still so tough for me to photograph so I really enjoy the photos I see from those who join.
What a beautiful photo, and in b&w the wave contrasts wonderfully with the driftwood.
water, completely wet and luscious in black and white!
Kovat tyrskylaineet ,vedenliike on kiehtovaa katseltavaa, pidän tällaisista kuvista.
This is wonderful in black and white! I'm participating for the first time though I've visited others for a while now. Figured I'd get my virtual feet wet at Sacred Ruminations.
Hugs and blessings,
Lovely B & W shot!
I am sharing today a simple paradise at this corner of the world - Dakak Beach Resort, Dapitan City.
Beautiful photo! I've never tried shooting in monochrome but I think I'll have a go
