My shot this week was a toss up. Did I go for interesting or a pretty shot? I went for interesting and I really wanted to share this. I was walking back to the car at Bolsa Chica Wetlands and I had seen what I thought was a stone in the water. I noticed the same kind of stone was in different spots along the water's edge. When I stopped to really look at it, it was moving!!! It was a huge slug. Sea slug? It's not the best shot but I had to share. This thing was probably the length and width of my forearm just slowly crawling around not far from the water's edge. All in all, not a bad shot considering it is underwater.

Love it! I collect sea shells. They are nothing more than the empty houses where a snail/slug used to live!

Wow!!! Awesome "thing".
Thank´s for a great job keeping WW up and running. :-)
That's the biggest slug I have ever seen!
This is my first venture into Watery Wednesday. I love water! Thanks for being here! Cool slug!
I agree, this is an interesting shot. I have never seen anything like it, and so big. Thanks for sharing.
An amazing capture! I have never seen a sea slug like this one! Quite a chunky character! Wonderful shot!
Thats fascinating - I didn't realise they grew so big - looks like it could go on a diet!
BTW thanks for organising WW, don't worry about the knockers - they are all over the place but never get off their rear ends to do anything interesting

Wow... a giant sea slug without it's shell. It's amazing! Btw, this is my first participation. Thanks for the space here.
Yow! I'm used to land slugs (we lived in rainy Oregon for many years) but this sea slug is a giant!

Great shot, what a wonderful little critter to go in your Watery Wednesday post.
Amazing shot, I have never seen one before.
Thank you for taking the time to keep this meme going. I know how time consuming it can be especially when you are working. Thanks again.
Don't you just love Bolsa Chica? I used to go there all the time when I lived in Long Beach.
oh man that is disgusting! Imagine stepping on that while you were swimming...or finding it in your garden? YUCK!
We're going to the islands this summer...I'm really looking forward to the tropical critters. This is an exotic capture!
I love that slug/snail shot. It is as if you have unearthed something primitive! Prehistoric! Unevolved! Great choice.

Perfect shot! I think I never see this before..
It was both interesting and a cool shot you share with us. It sure looks big! :)
wow - glad you went with interesting! I thought it was a pregnant snail : )
Very interesting shot...thanks.
Never seen anything like this. Looks strange, hopefully not dangerous. :-) A nice photo, interesting is just the beginning. I have too look it up and learn more. ;-)
What a great find. It's a great shot of slug.
Interesting find, and wonderful shot..
Great picture but, frankly, I'd prefer not to be in the water with them. I've never been crazy about slugs...and that size, wow!
