Watery Wednesday #61
My, my, my! Where does the time go? It's that time of the week again. Thought I'd share a couple of my favorite flamingo shots from the Los Angeles Zoo. I'd say this is definitely wet! How cyber wet can you get today? Have fun and don't forget those cyber galoshes!

And all this time I thought they were born on sticks in yards in Florida. Whaddya know about that? Learn something every day doncha?
My, my, beautifuful flamengos, don't be shy!
The beautiful watery reflections seem to deepen the amazing pink.
What WONDERFUL captures this week! You've outdone yourself yet again ;-)
Hugs and blessings,
Great shots and the reflection of the other flamingos in the first photo is pretty cool.
Yes, the flamingos are wet indeed and entertaining as well. They are not as pink as the ones I sometimes see on lawns here. ;-)
Beautiful flamingoes.
Nice shots. Like the flamingo dunk and splash of the second shot, though without the first shot we'd be wondering what on earth it was. :)
Beautiful shots of the Pink Flamingo.
She is beautiful, look at that red color in her. Great shots!
Come and swim with the Whale shark
Love that deep, salmony color! The ones at Busch Gardens in Tampa are that color all over - very impressive when you see a whole mob of them together!

Great capture! Lovely flamingos.
Pretty shot for the day..happy Watery Wednesday. Mine is ready.
I don't know that I've ever seen flamingos doing anything but standing around, mainly on one leg, but to see them swimming, how neat.
Great shots, Ms Saxy!
That Flamingo sure is having a blast :)
Sweet shots!
What beautiful photos! Great capture of the flamingo enjoying some water sports!
this bird is also one of my favourites. Thank you for great images of them.
Oh what great photo's. you got exactly just enough of the pink! The only flamingos we get up here are the plastic ones.
Those are beautiful photos. Thanks for hosting WW!
I enjoy seeing our feathered friends enjoying themselves. Happy Watery Wednesday to everyone!
beautiful photos, thanks for being the host.
That's an incredible capture~
I really like your frozen water splash in the second picture. Lovely! Is it true that the feather colour on the Pink Flamingo is from what they eat, small scrimps? Im publish my first watery photo today from an old mining district south of Dalarna in Sweden.
Absolutely beautiful! Thanks!
Beautiful birds, what an amazing coloration.
Thanks for sharing these great photos, I've never seen one in life.
You have always great pictures every week thanks for sharing them

A wonderful Wednesday for you.
Beautiful photos as always.

I'm kind of confused. People are posting for the Nov. 10th entry. Is there no new one for this week?
I can hardly believe there are over 100 entries this week. Wow! Uh, oh, now I see that it's this week's and last week's also. I missed last week so I didn't notice.
I've never seen a flamingo up close like that. I had no idea their feathers were varied shades like that, like a peony flower or something. So lovely. Thank you for a great photo duo.
This is my first time to join this meme and i can't believe it, im on a 110 participants for this week meme. Well, congrats to the host.
So, it's not just me that's a bit early for this week! Calling the host!!! Yooo hooo!!!
Hope all is well with you.
Happy Watery Wednesday everyone!
My new post is up.
Beautiful! here in scandinavia we need pictures like that!
you captured the flamingo's moment perfectly!
Yes, happy Watery Wednesday! Here is mine for November 17/18......http://perry-myworld.blogspot.com/
Lovely flamingo, people say they are pink because they eat shrimp( prawns) but I cannot see how this is since shrimp or prawns are only pink when they are cooked otherwize they are grey.
you can check my entry for the 17th here
Ive linked mine to the 10th Nov week
