Watery Wednesday #36

Guess what time it is? It's time to pull out and post those water shots. This may not look like it but this feather is actually floating on the water at the lake. Aren't you just tempted to reach in and get your fingers wet as you pick it out of the water? Don't get that keyboard wet while your fingers travel from wet post to wet post. :-)

RULES: Create your Watery Wednesday post first then come back and enter your name and the link to your post in the spaces provided above. Next, just have fun visiting the other entrants to see their posts. If you leave a comment they'll know you've visited and will visit you in return. Have fun!

You can use the images below to link back to this post.

Reminder, I start this on Tuesdays because there are parts of the worlds where Tuesday is already Wednesday.

This is very pretty - I'd leave the feather on the water for some more floating fun :)

An illustration of the concept of surface tension. Back in elementary school we floated a needle like this. It's a little tricky, but you can do it.

But I love this image. Simple, delicate, and you can fill in almost any back story you want (within certain limits obviously).

That's a lovely shot. I love that it stayed so dry on the water. So light. Great shot.

That's an amazing shot! Hardly looks like water at all. The feather looks totally dry!

This is such a pretty image, the word 'serenity' comes to mind.

Love the simplicity of this image. And yes, it does prompt a wish to pluck that feather off the surface of the water.

My cats wouldn't mind getting wet. They will give their lives for the sheer joy of your feather. I like your artistic concept on this one.

Niin herkkää ja hentoa, elämän laineilla höyhenkin uskaltaa matkata aavalla. Rohkeutta meille kaikille huomiseen, tää on ihana kuva.

I just love it! I wonder how you find all the neat things to photograph? Very nice though how the feather is just gliding on the surface.

There is beauty everywhere we look... a discarded feather reminding us of angel wings.
