I really like the peclican photo with the Waterall. The water colour is very beautiful.

This week I am posting a photo of Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands in Washington State.

I can't see a pelican any more without being reminded of the verse:
"An amazing bird is the pelican.
His bill can hold more than his belly can.
He can keep in his beak,
Enough for a week,
But I don't know how in the hell he can."

Amazing shots. Just beautiful.

Love the pelican/waterfall combo.

Thanks for doing this meme. I have to make an effort to find water to photograph, but it's fun to at least try to find something wet of interest.

I like the close-up shot: each and every wing feather!

You've posted one of my favorite birds. I love the one where he is spreading his wings, and the waterfall is a nice addition to the other. Happy Thanksgiving!

I love the unusual green of the water. What a great shot. The pelican is almost furry looking.

Is that a photo or a painting? It's hard to tell as it is so good.
